Rapidfile for Windows 1.0.0
===========================

Send and receive files of any size with a 6-digit code or a link. https://rapidfile.cc
Rapidfile is made by Enzonic LLC.

Getting started
---------------
1. Unzip this folder anywhere (for example your Desktop) and double-click Rapidfile.exe.
No installer and no admin rights are needed. Windows 10 (1809 or newer) or Windows 11, 64-bit.
2. Optional: Settings -> "Install to Start menu" copies Rapidfile to
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Programs\Rapidfile and adds it to the Start menu. You can then delete the downloaded copy.
3. Optional: Settings -> "Sign in with your browser" to send up to 2 GB for free and to use "My devices".

"Windows protected your PC" (SmartScreen)
----------------------------------------
Rapidfile is new and not yet code-signed, so Microsoft Defender SmartScreen may show
"Windows protected your PC" the first time you open it. To run it anyway:
click "More info", then "Run anyway".
If Windows blocks the file entirely, right-click Rapidfile.exe -> Properties -> tick "Unblock" -> OK.
Only download Rapidfile from https://rapidfile.cc.

What you get
------------
- Send: drop files or folders on the window (several items are zipped while they upload), pick them, or paste
with Ctrl+V. Choose the expiry, a download limit, a password, a title and a message. You get a big 6-digit code,
a link, a QR code, Copy / Share / Open buttons.
- Receive: type a code or paste a rapidfile.cc link. Downloads resume after connection drops; "Unzip after download"
is optional. Images and videos can be previewed.
- My devices: files you send to yourself from your phone, the web or another computer appear here with a
notification (optionally downloaded automatically). The taskbar icon shows how many are new.
- History: everything sent from this computer plus your account's transfers: copy link, open, extend, delete.
- Explorer: right-click files or folders -> "Rapidfile: Get link" (uploads and copies the link) or
"Rapidfile: Send to my devices". On Windows 11 these are under "Show more options".
The same two entries are in the "Send to" menu. You can turn this off in Settings.
- Notification area (tray) icon with recent transfers and a drop zone. Closing the window keeps Rapidfile
running there; use the tray icon -> Quit to exit.

Uninstall
---------
Settings -> turn off "Explorer right-click and Send to menu" and "Start with Windows", click Remove next to
"Install to Start menu", quit Rapidfile, then delete Rapidfile.exe and %LOCALAPPDATA%\Rapidfile
(settings, history, sign-in).
